Buying a Home

Buying a home can be very stressful these days as interest rates are high and buyers are selling high. I've been waiting for the housing market to go down but it doesn't seem like it's going to happen anytime soon. So much for those great analysts and their predictions.

Anyways, the first and most important step has been to get a home mortgage loan from one of the leading companies. I have done that and skipped past the guys at eLoan. I was able to get approved at a rate a little above prime and am very happy about that. Seeing as how my credit was garbage a year ago, this is very good to see.

Anyways, I hope to be purchasing a home sometime in the coming month and will invite everyone over to check it out.

Google, Yahoo, and MSN are the major search engines many of my fellow bloggers use to find useful information on the web. But how do you get these sources to find your site in the first place? It seems like everyone seems to have an opinion and that all opinions vary depending on who you talk with. To be honest, I had a hell of a time trying to weed through the information on impoving a web sites search results.

To make a long story short, after searching the internet I found some cool resources and tools to help analysis a website and improve your chances of being found. Check out promotemylink.com for useful search engine optimization tools. Check out searchenginewatch.com for up-to-date information on industry trends. And of course Google to get information from the source.

As this topic continues to grow and gain attention, I will be posting more about it. Someone needs to do it...

New Kick Ass Blog

I was going through my stats and someone found this place by googling my name: Samantha Joseph. This can only mean that I share my name with someone with nude pictures or there are nude pictures of me online. Last time I checked, I got rid of all the nude pictures. That's a part of my past that I've put behind me. But seriously, I can only imagine the dissappointment on people's faces when they set out in search of good wholesome pornography and only found this blog -- this stain on the pants of Democracy.

Best Friends Forever

It is my personal belief that a real lasting friendship doesn't exist until you've fantasized about brutally murdering that person. Not necessarily hacking your beloved to bits with a butcher knife. But surely noone would question your motives, had the dearly departed slipped on the railing only to fall down a couple flights of stairs. With a couple knives lodge in their back and no clothes on. I think I've already said too much.Anyway. I've been suffering with a recent realization that having friends is detrimental to my health. Rather than helping me cope with my miserable existence, they just seem to stress me out more than anything. I can't stand dealing with people anymore. No one has anything enlightening to say. All I hear is blah blah blah. When I become a rich, successful author like Ernest Hemingway; I'll just become a recluse and move to my secluded log cabin in the mountains. And, like Hemingway, I'll become schizophrenic and shoot myself. The End.

Education Hinders Learning

And my SAT prep classes from school were pretty much worthless. My verbal teacher actually said knowing what he knows now about the SAT format he could score a good 1100. Well thanks for nothing. The math prep teacher was even more of a waste of time. I sat there without doing any tests or homework and I passed with an 80 for the class. Great.There's only about 25 days left to study and since this blog is my #1 priority I'd hoped to blow off the studying. It's not like I have any chance of going anywhere in life anyway. Unfortunately, I did buy some of those ginormous Kaplan Test Prep books with my credit card and I doubt my Mom would appreciate my philosophy once the bill arrives.I might be posting sparingly for awhile if I can manage to get over my affliction with terminal procrastination. So don't worry if I'm gone -- I'll just be right here suffering in agonizing pain as the College Board Gods ravage my mangled corpse. There is a 99% chance I won't survive, but then again percentages aren't my forte.
